K.K. Das College Admission: K.K. Das College, affiliated with the University of Calcutta, was established in 1964 to provide education to underprivileged students. It began as an evening commerce college with support from Dr. K.K. Das and later introduced B.A. and B.Sc. programs in 2000-2001, becoming a co-educational institution. The college moved to its own campus in 2008 with modern facilities like a computer lab and library. Today, it has ten departments and focuses on quality education through various committees, including the Internal Quality Assurance Cell. It also has active NSS, NCC, and Eco-Club units that encourage community service and environmental awareness. Accredited by NAAC in 2016, the college started using technology for teaching and learning in 2015 and now helps other institutions with ICT training programs.
