It is connected to Calicut University and has received the top grade of ‘A++’ from NAAC for its quality. In 2015, on its 60th anniversary, the college was given "Autonomous status" by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college’s motto is “Jeevitha Prabha,” which means “Light of Life.” It follows a strong Christian and Catholic educational tradition that aims to prepare students for today’s challenges.
