Berhampur University Distance Education: BU was established on 2nd January 1976. It is located in Ganjam Town, Orissa. University is famous for its Canadian Study. Berhampur University provides the education material especially for working peoples, Housewives, and other unreached peoples.

University offers 28 full-time courses to the students in the field of UnderGraduate, PostGraduate, and PG Diploma. Under Distance Learning mode, For admission in the Undergraduate course candidate should have 10+2 with 50% marks from the recognized Board. for the Postgraduate course candidate should have a Graduation degree with 55% marks from any recognized university and in relative subjects.

In 1987, the University also set up its center for distance education with the name HariharMardaraj Distance Education Center (HM-DEC). It gives workplace access to the training facilities through various distance learning courses in economics, history, education, mathematics, political science, etc. The University of Berhampur offers several undergraduate, post-graduate, and PG diploma courses. In the field of UG, PG, and PG diplomas, the University offers 28 full-time courses.

• Admission to B.Ed. programs will be available beginning September 27, 2021.
• The deadline is 16 November 2021 to apply for admission.
• On September 3, 2021, applications for the LLB program will open.
• The application deadline for the LLB program is October 3, 2021.
• The first day of classes for the LLB curriculum will be December 1st, 2021.
• OJEE online exams will be held on October 17 for MBA programs and October 19 for B.Tech programs in 2021.
• The first day of the OJEE 2021 consultation will be October 12, 2021.
