National Law University Odisha Admission 2024-25: National Law University Odisha offers Undergraduate programmes of BA LLB, Postgraduate programmes of LLM & M.Phill and other  PhD programmes for those students who want to make their career in the field of LAW. The admission process is completed based on CLAT. The University has closed the registration window for the academic year 2024-25. The fresh registration will be started soon for the next session.

NLUO was established in the year 2009 under the National Law University Act, of 2008. The University Grant Commission has approved this institution. The university offers both postgraduate and graduate studies. PhD courses are also available at this university.

• National Law University Odisha (NLUO) Admission for the academic year 2024-25. The Ph.D. admission dates have been announced.
• The application form for the Ph.D. course was released on 11 March 2024. Interested candidates can find the application form on the university official website @nluo.ac.in
• Candidates are advised to submit their application form before the deadline of 12 April 2024 for the opted course. Candidates who fail to submit their application before the deadline their application will not be validated. 

National Law University Odisha Admission 2024-25

The abbreviation for NLU is National Law University. The university has closed the admission portal for the Undergraduate (UG),postgraduate (PG),and PhD level courses for the academic year 2024-25. If the candidate takes admission in LLB and LLM then the admission is on the basis of entrance exam merit. The candidate needs to clear the  Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT). The university decides the admission on a merit basis. this entrance exam is conducted at the national level.

Admission to Ph.D and M.Phil depends on the entrance exam that is conducted by National Law University Odisha and a personal interview. Candidates fill out the application form and submit all required documents for verification. The candidate needs to pay the required amount of the registration fee. There are 120 seats available for BA LLB admission whereas only 60 seats are for the BBA LLB course.

NLU Odisha UG Admission 2024-25

NLUO UG admission will start for law-driven programs in the upcoming session. Here students can apply for BA LLB and BBA LLB after passing an HSC in a relevant stream from the state or central board of India. The minimum mark required to get admission is 60 per cent, and those who have secured such marks will need to appear in the university entrance test.

NLUO conducts the CLAT entrance test and makes it mandatory for admission to UG. Qualified candidates in CLAT will be summoned for a document verification process, and those who successfully pass the latter admission process of the university will get a key of admission in NLUO.

In pursuit of its goal of promoting integrated knowledge, National Law University Odisha (NLUO) offers the following five-year integrated undergraduate programmes: B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)-120 Seats B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.)- 60 Seats.

NLU Odisha PG Admission 2024-25

NLUO PG admission is available for a one-year programme in LLM. The one-year degree programme has evolved to provide law teaching with two major specialisations Corporate Law & Commercial Law (CCL) and Constitutional Law & Administrative Law (CAL).

The students who have passed a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of  50% marks in either BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLB programme can apply for the NLUO LLM course. The university conducts the CLAT entrance test to offer seats in the LLM programme. Candidates who have qualified CLAT can check their names on the university merit list and after that, they are eligible to take admission at NLUO.

The NLUO Application form can be downloaded from the university's official website. The application form for UG, PG, and PhD should be filled in the presence of academic and personal documents. Here students will need to deposit an application fee by raising a DD in favour of the Registrar of Odisha University. The application fee for the Phd programme is INR 1,000.

NLU Odisha Eligibility Criteria 2024

• If the candidate takes the National Law University Odisha Admission 2024 in LLB the candidate age limit is 22 years.
• If the candidate takes admission to postgraduation the candidate requires a graduate degree from a recognized university.
• BA LLB Candidates need to have at least 50% marks in the 10+2 level. SC/ST candidates need to have at least 45% marks.
• LLM Course LLB degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category students).
