The Kolhan University was established on 13 August 2009 with 14 Constituent Colleges and 12 Affiliated Colleges in geographical jurisdiction of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela Kharswan District with more than 80,000 students strength. The University is in the area of tribal regions.

Kolhan University Scholarship
The University provides the scholarship to all the candidates. The University provides the Scholarship for a need-based candidate whose parent has less income. The University also provides the Scholarship for MBA Candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have passed the Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks(45% for SC/ST) from any recognized Board/University.
- Candidate must have obtained high security in XAT/MAT/GMAT.
- A student must be an Indian national.
