Birla Institute of Technology Admission 2024-25:  BIT is situated in Mesra, Ranchi Jharkhand. BIT took its birth in 1955. It has the title of Deemed to be University under the UGC section 3 act. BIT is ranked 17th by India Today and 38th by NIRF among all engineering colleges. Also, BIT has got 58th rank in Management and 16th position in Pharmacy by NIRF 2020. For its overall performance, the institute has ranked in 85th position. AICTE and UGC are approving  BIT. Also, the NAAC has credited BIT with a B grade. 

Students are provided with meritorious admissions. Their merit is assessed by AIR (All India Ranking) in exams such as AIPMT, GATE, and JEE Main. BIT's campus is vast, with an area of 780 acres, including almost 550 faculties.

Admission to all programs UG, PG and PhD of the Institute at Mesra, students are hereby informed that the registration date session 2024-25 is extended till 16th January 2024 with the late fine of Rs. 4000/-, a late fine of Rs 5000/- would be charged from 17th to 31st January. After 31st January 2024 candidates may not be permitted to register as per Birla Institute of Technology. Students can register themselves on campus or off campus before the last date of registration.

• The MBA admission will be done after attending the entrance test CAT/GMAT. Students have to perform well be counseling rounds.
• Ph.D. course admission will depend on the written test and interview.

Birla Institute of Technology Entrance Exam Details

• Birla Institute of Technology entrance test will be of total 3-hour duration.
• All the questions and instructions for the test will be in English only.
• the university conducts the exam paper in objective type.
• Each right-answer student will get 3 marks and each wrong answer deduct 1 mark.
• The question will available on paper 150.
• There is no time limit for individual parts of the test.
• The candidate can go back and change any of his/her answers to the 150 questions.
