King George’s Medical University Admission 2026-27: King George's Medical College was established in 1911. The status of a university by an act passed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.This University offers Admission for various courses from Diploma to Doctorate levels including Science, Medical, Engineering, Arts and Commerce, etc. The University has the capacity for 1250 undergraduate students and 450 postgraduate students. KGMU Admissions has been started and the applications are only invited till 15 July 2026.

King George's Medical University Admission 2026-27

KGMU is a State Medical University established in 1911. This university offers MBBS, DM/DH, BDS, and B.Sc (Nursing)  at the UG level and at PG level, the university offers MDS, MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses along with DM, M.Ch and Postgraduate Fellowship in many disciplines.

NEET score is necessary for MBBS and BDS admission. 70 seats will be occupied on the UP NEET counselling base. B.Sc Radiotherapy and B.Optom need an entrance test which is followed by an interview. For Nursing and Dental Hygiene courses, the entrance test followed by counselling is a must.

MS and MDS admissions will be given for 85% seats on UP PGMEE score and for 15% seats, NEET PG is necessary. Admission in DM and M.Ch will be granted on the AIDMCHEE score. The specific entrance test is held for M.Phil and Ph.D. programs.

KGMU Eligibility Criteria 2026-27

• The students must have passed 12th from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 45% marks for UG courses. 

  Students must have an average of 45% to 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English to qualify for BSc programs. 

  The eligibility for MD/MS/MDS programs is that students must have done an MBBS degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university. 

  Selection is based on the merit list in the last qualifying examination and the entrance exam.
