Office of Corporate Relations at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education was well established with the objective of nurturing continuous and strong partnership which is between the institute and the industries. It helps in creating and maintaining relationships with industries for compelling knowledge exchange. The importance of office are:

• Facilitate the participation of industry representatives in the academic process by way of arranging industrial lectures
• Facilitate the filing of patents origin our of original research carried out by faculties
• Foster Institution – industry exchange programs including student internships
• Formal licensing to the industry of Institution – generated patents and technologies
• Arranging the use of Institution facilities by the industry
• Coordinating placement related activities
• Coordinate training activities for the students (both soft skills and technical skills)

Information, advice, and job-seeking support for the students are given consideration with important activities of this office. Career advisors are provided availability for discussion of ideas and plans as well as activities of this Office. Corporate relations in the office along with concerned departments as well as centers of the institute, actively getting involved in activities as follows:

Training

• Identifying the organization for industrial training and placement activities
• Organizing personality development programs.
• Co-ordination of Industrial Visits, In-plant Training and  Project Work
• Promoting career counseling
• Facilitating students who attend various symposiums, conferences, workshops, etc.

Industry Collaborations

• Identifying industry representatives for various advisory groups of the Institution
• Identifying the Industries and the type of collaboration
• Formulation of the MoU

Placements

• Coordination with industry for direct recruitment of the top-ranking students
• Reviewing every recruitment process and giving recommendations for subsequent recruitments
• Assessing the skill set requirements
• Identifying and inviting industries for campus recruitment
• Coordination of campus recruitment activity
• Maintaining updated students profile

Consultancy

• Facilitating consultancy services offered by KARE faculty
• Promoting testing services
