Veer Bahadur Singh Government Degree College Admission: Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU),formerly known as Purvanchal University, was established on 2nd October 1987 under the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act 1973. Renamed in honor of late Shri Veer Bahadur Singh, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the university has shown remarkable qualitative and quantitative growth since its inception. Known for its transparent and efficient academic administration, VBSPU has emerged as one of the leading universities in the country. Starting with just 68 affiliated colleges, the university now oversees 573 graduate and post-graduate colleges, with a student enrollment nearing 3.8 lakh across two districts in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
