Sri Malolan College, Admission: Sri Malolan College of Arts and Science (SMCAS) was started in July 2010 in Madurantakam by Sri Ahobila Muth, an ancient religious institution in India over 600 years old. The college is named after Lord Malolan, the main deity of the Muth. Located on Trichy Highway (NH-45),about 90 km from Chennai and 30 km from Chengalpattu, the college is believed to be blessed as it sits near Madurantakam lake, where Lord Rama is said to have saved the water for the people.
