SGTBKC, Delhi, Admission: Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, started in 1951, is a well-known college in Delhi and part of the University of Delhi. It was set up to help Punjabi refugees who came to Delhi after India's independence in 1947. The college began in Dev Nagar, Karol Bagh, and its first students took Delhi University exams in 1952. Run by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, the college combines modern education with the values of Sikhism.
