Sree Muthukumaraswamy Admission: Sree Muthukumaraswamy Devasthanam Educational Society was started in 1978 to give value-based, character-building education to boys and girls. It began with a primary school in Purasawalkam and soon opened more schools in places like Park Town and Purasawalkam between 1979 and 1990. Over the years, the Society has grown steadily and now runs several schools across North Chennai. From just a few students and teachers in the beginning, it now educates over 3,500 students with the help of around 150 dedicated teachers, making it a respected name in education in the region.
