SJCC Bangalore Admission: St. Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC),established in 1882, is managed by the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society (BJES). It became an independent college in 1972 and gained autonomous status in 2005, allowing it to improve its courses and teaching methods. The college is highly rated, earning an ‘A++’ grade from NAAC and ranking 55th in India by NIRF in 2024. It was also recognized as a ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ and a Research Centre. In 2022, SJCC introduced two new programs: B.A. English (Hons) and B.Sc. Economics (Hons),making it a multidisciplinary college. SJCC focuses on quality education, character building, and social responsibility, guided by its motto "Fide et Labore," which means "Faith and Hard Work."
