Nirmala College for Women Admission: Nirmala College for Women in Coimbatore is a Catholic college started in 1948. It is run by a religious group called the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, founded by Rev. Fr. Joseph Louis Ravel in 1853. Since 2007, the college has been independent, meaning it can create its own courses and use new teaching methods. Even though it works independently, it stays connected to Bharathiar University.
