Meenakshi College for Women Admission: Meenakshi College for Women is a well-known government-aided college that focuses on higher education for women. The college is managed by the Ganapathi Educational Trust. The trust was led by Late Sri R. Venkataraman, who was once the President of India, and Late Prof. K. R. Sundararajan (KRS),who played a key role in starting the college. Dr. K. S. Lakshmi, the daughter of Prof. KRS, was the first principal of the college and is now the Secretary of the Trust. Today, the college has over 3,000 female students studying there. It offers nearly 40 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels in subjects like Arts, Sciences, and Commerce.
