DBPM Degree College Admission: Dewan Bahadur Padmarao Mudaliar College for Women was established in 1982 by the Keyes Education Society to provide higher education for women, following the success of Keyes High School for Girls, which began in 1881 as a small primary school. The college was named after Dewan Bahadur Padmarao Mudaliar, a key figure in expanding education opportunities for girls. Starting with just 35 students in Arts and 71 in Commerce, the college grew to include Science courses by 1984 and later added postgraduate programs in 2014, fulfilling the vision of offering education from kindergarten to PG levels. With dedicated leadership, like Mrs. Bhagyalaxmi Natarajan and Mrs. Revathi Thangavelu, the college continues to excel in academics and empower women to face the world confidently.
