AMSASCW Hyderabad Admission: Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women started in 1966 as an evening college to help working women and housewives in Hyderabad get higher education, with just 15 students in PUC and 5 in B.A. courses. It was officially opened by Shri Morarji Desai, then Deputy Prime Minister of India, on July 14, 1968, and was the first women’s college in the Osmania University area to offer a B.Com course. Today, it offers many undergraduate programs like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, and postgraduate courses like M.Com, M.Sc., and M.A., with over 2,000 students enrolled. The college celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1994 and its Golden Jubilee in 2018-19, marking 50 years of empowering women through education, staying true to Dr. Durgabai Deshmukh’s vision.
