Library

Dhanvantri Library

The Dhanvantri Library is the Central library of the university. University of Jammu offers journals, 5 lakh books, and 250 current periodicals, etc. on a distinct variety of subjects catering to the requirements of the students, researchers, and teachers. The library has very large reading halls providing easy accommodation for nearly about 500 users. The library is well maintained and computerized.

Departmental Libraries

Almost all kinds of departments run their own specific libraries which are departmental. The libraries provide an extensive variety of Journals with the addition to the books of the students.

Health Centre

A First Aid Centre was established on an initial basis in the premises of the boy's hostels of the university. It is managed by the medical assistant. In the early seventies, Full-fledged First Aid Centre was upgraded providing benefits of medical aids to the university community and employees of the University who are dependents.
