It is situated near the shrine of the Mata Vaishno Devi, after which it is named. SMVDUU University was founded in the Year 1999. The main motto of the University is "Science is God". SMVDU Admission 2024

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University provides B.Tech and B.Arch course at UG level along with five-year integrated M.Sc courses. SMVDU offers M.Tech, MCA, MA, MBA and M.Sc programs in several streams. The University also provides the Doctoral Level Programs.

SMVDU Eligibility Criteria

SMVDU Admission to B.Tech Program is done on the basis of the JEE Main or SMVDUUEE Score. SMVDU Admission to B.Arch Program is done on the basis of NATA or JEE Main Score. SMVDU is conducting the separate Written Test to offer admission in Integrated M.Sc, MA and M.Sc courses. SMVDU Admission For MBA Programs, the Candidate must have more ap in CMAT or MAT followed by GD and PI. SMVDU M.Tech admission requires a valid score in GATE while Non-GATE candidates can apply for a university-level entrance test.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is recently starting a special scholarship for the meritorious student joining MBA, B.Tech and B.Arch Program at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. The candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria will be awarded the scholarship from the 1st Semester itself.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Scholarship Criteria
For B.Tech Programs, Those candidates score 30000 In JEE Main Examination are eligible for full tuition fee concession for 05 Semester. For B.Arch Programs, That Candiscore score above 500 in JEE Main Examination is eligible for full tuition fee concession for the first 05 Semester. For MBA Programs, Those candidates score 90% in MAT/CMAT are eligible for full tuition fee concession for 1st year & 50% tuition fee concession a for the 2nd year.
Note: The candidate must maintain a CGPA of 7.5 with no back paper.
