The establishment year of Sardar Patel University was in December 1955 by the Legislative Assembly act under UGC Act. Sardar Patel University is situated in Gujarat, and it comes under one of the largest universities in the state. Sardar Patel University has 31 postgraduate courses, and a large number of colleges have affiliation from SPU, which is 148 colleges in number. And about 27 departments for PG are available.

University provides various courses such as Undergraduate courses, Postgraduate Courses, Ph.D. these are common courses which many universities provide but in addition, some other courses also available which helps students a lot to makeover their future like Integrated courses, External Courses, Addon Courses which comprises 25% theory and 75% practical offered from University. SPU is accredited by NAAC grade B.

The eligibility to get admission in the UG program is based on marks secured in Intermediate. The more numbers you have, the more chances you will get selected.

Candidates should have at least the required marks for Bachelor's Degree in the relevant stream to get admission in PG programs; those eligible students then have to clear the entrance test.
