Kashmir University: The University of Kashmir has delayed the LLM second semester assessment which was booked to be hung on January 8, 2021 (Friday) taking into account substantial snowfall in Kashmir. "The assessment of the delayed papers LM17216DCE and LM17217DCE will presently be hung on 14 January 2024. The time and setting will stay unaltered," Head and Dean School of Law, Prof M Ayoub said.

The valley has been encountering far and wide snowfall in the course of the most recent three days coming full circle in blockage of streets and force blackouts and, without precedent for many years, proportioning of fuel.

The snow has prompted the conclusion of the Srinagar-Jammu public expressway, and the suspension of traveler flights. While more than 12 crawls of snow have been recorded in north Kashmir's fields, south Kashmir has seen up to 5 feet of the day off.
