In 1969, the cluster university of Srinagar was established.

The Cluster University of Srinagar is well established in Srinagar by the government of the Jammu and Kashmir.

The courses offered for the admission of B. Tech, the applicants should clear the JEE main examination. For M.Tech admission, the applicant should qualify the examination of GATE. For specific admission in the M.Pharm the examination at the entry level of GPAT. The university is offering Ph.D. as well as M.Phil. courses and the university organises and conduct the admission entrance examination.

For all specific programmes there is no entrance examination, the applicant must opt for the date from which the offered date list when the application form is filled.
