DU PG Admission
Registration: NTA (National Testing Agency) is entrusted with conducting DU PG (Delhi University Post Graduate) Entrance exams. These Initial PG course admission exams begin within the 1st Week of March.
The registration of the exam is to be done online. NTA releases an official document and an application form and schedule for aspiring course takers, which is open until the last week of March. It is utmostly advisable to stay updated with the official website and E-mail ID for first-time users to sign-up for important updates.
DU PG Admission 2022-23
Students need to fill in all the exact and accurate information while filling up for admission for the PG program in DU. The university will use the same information during the admission procedure. Students can fill or register themselves by visiting the official portal of DU registration. A quick overview of details are given below:-
Go to https://www.du.ac.in/ and click the Help tab under Step by Step Instruction to fill the application form.
- In the Login Parts, all candidates will provide their details (as given in their certificates), e-mail ID, and mobile number (10 digit number without any prefix),which will be used for future communication and create a password.
- It is usually advisable that every detail in the form be precise and correct because details will use the same throughout your admission procedure.
- The applicant must confirm his identity on his e-mail by clicking on the confirmation link and keep the password and e-mail very accessible because Id and password will use the same to access future updates and information.
- The applicant needs to go back to the portal, and re-login using his Username(E-mail),Password Or Mobile number, OTP (One Time Password) and needs to Upload [A Passport size photo {Min size: 50KB}, A Scanned Signature and Final Marks of the Qualifying Examination]
- Next, the site demands Identity proof of the applicant. Submitting one of these documents[i.e., Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter Identity Card, PAN card]will permit access to the next step.
- After proving necessary documents and clicking on Submit my Profile, the applicant shall proceed with Apply in New Course and then provide their educational details, course to be applied in, and the admission format (Merit Score/ Entrance Test Score/ Both Merit and Entrance Test score).
DU PG Admission Fees
After all the formalities of registration and admission procedure, the final process will become completed after paying the fee. Students need to pay the fees on time before closing or ending the last date. Once a payment portal wil closed, the filled application will be rejected because of the payment of the unpaid fees. Application Fee is to Paid Online by any of these methods (Net banking, Credit Card, Debit Card.
- ST, SC, PwBD, EWS is Rs 300/- for all courses except PDGCL and Rs 1500/- for PDGCL included and for
- UR, OBC, Others is Rs 750/- for all courses except PDGCL and Rs 2000/- for PDGCL included)

DU PG Admission Eligibility Criteria
The DU PG eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled before appearing in the exam. These criteria are as follows.
- There is no minimum age bar to apply for a PG course except some(India (MCI),All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE),Bar Council of India (BCI),National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE),Dental Council of India (DCI),)
- Each program has a subjective percentage of marks that need to be fulfilled.
- Reservation for ST, SC Includes securing minimum pass marks for the respective Qualifying Examination of the University of Delhi.
- Reservation for OBC Includes relaxation in both Qualifying and Entrance Examinations to the extent of 10% of Minimum eligibility marks prescribed for Unreserved Category.
- Admission on Sports Quota Includes 5% reservation of seats in the University.
DU PG Merit List
The applicants who can qualify through all rounds of admission tests such as qualifying and entrance exams are then selected to enter the course through an 8-way merit list. Merit lists consist of all merit holders who have secured their positions in the program of the respective university. The list comes in two months, revolving from weeks from July to September in an 8-way form. DU PG Cut Cut Off List
DU PG Cut-off List is released for applicants seeking both admission methods, that is, both Merit Based Admission and Admission done on entrance test scores. These are considered major updates for applicants and can be accessed through the website n the portal. DU PG Cut-off result includes the minimum marks the candidate must’ve scored to apply for a PG course. This merit list is influenced by several factors and keeps on changing from time to time. Some of the key influencing factors affecting this merit list every year are:
- Number of students taking part in the exam yearly
- Number of students taking part in the exam vs. the number of seats available
- Cut-off trends of the previous year

DU PG Admission Portal
Delhi University offers a variety of undergraduate programs under which Mater in Arts is a prestigious one. MA is a course widely popular in Delhi University, due to which it attracts a large group of students, particularly from Delhi. It’s because of its prestigious nature that it is really difficult to get admission into the university. The university allows only direct admission for BA English Honors. The Delhi University MA English Entrance exam is very challenging and competitive due to many students applying each year. Therefore, very accurate preparation and full coverage of the MA English Entrance syllabus will secure the chances of getting a seat.
Delhi University MA entrance is a PG course and hence has the same date eligibility criteria and requirements as per every other PG course. The official date has not been released yet. Still, the DU PG program conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) has special qualifying and entrance examinations called DUET(Delhi University Entrance Test) which also falls under the DU MA category. The exam DUET is likely to start from the first to the second week of June, and registration begins as soon as the first week of March.
