Vivekananda College for Women Admission: The college was started in 1970 in Gandhi Nagar by the Delhi government with help from the UGC to provide higher education for women in the Trans-Yamuna area. It began in a school building with about 300 students in the B.A. (Pass) course. The foundation stone of its own building was laid in 1976 and opened in 1979. Over time, the college became very popular, and now many students want to study here, making it one of the top choices for women’s education in that region.
