Vivekanand College Admission: Vivekananda College started in 1970 with support from the UGC and the Delhi Government. The main goal was to provide higher education to young women living in the trans-Yamuna area. The college first started in a school building in Gandhi Nagar. In the beginning, most students came from semi-rural areas and were often the first in their families to go to college. They had limited time and resources, and it was not easy for them to travel. 

Even today, many students come from similar backgrounds, but now the college has students from many different places and walks of life. One of the special things about this college is that teachers guide and support students even outside the classroom, helping them grow and learn better.
