VES's College of Arts and Science Admission: VES College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous) was established in 1979 and started offering courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce from the very beginning. It is permanently affiliated with the University of Mumbai and recognized by the UGC under sections 2(f) and 12(b). The college has minority status for the Sindhi linguistic community. In 2017, it was re-accredited with an A grade by NAAC, and in 2021–2022, it received autonomous status from the UGC and the University of Mumbai. Though autonomous, it still awards degrees through the University of Mumbai. The college also won the ‘Best College Award’ (Urban Area) in 2012–2013 and received grants from DST-FIST and DBT’s Star College scheme in 2015–2016.
