SSCUACG Ahmedabad Admission: Smt. Sadguna C. U. Shah Home Science and C. U. Shah Arts & Commerce Mahila College was started in 1988 with Home Science courses. Later, Arts courses were added in 1990 and Commerce in 1992. A Master’s course in Home Science began in 2000, and research work started in 2007. The main goal of the college is to empower women through education and help students become responsible citizens with strong values. The teachers are actively involved in planning the courses. In 2005-06, special job-related certificate courses were also started with support from UGC, New Delhi.
