It offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Applied Art, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, and a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) program that began in 1988-89. The courses were updated to a 12+4 year format in 1998-99 to align with national standards. The institute trains students in Visual Communication, covering areas like Typography, Illustration, Photography, Computer Graphics, and more. For nearly 80 years, the institute’s alumni have set high standards in fields like advertising, media, and design.
