School of Open Learning, Admission: The School of Open Learning, part of the University of Delhi, started in 1962 and was one of the first in India to offer distance education. It began with just 900 students and now has over two lakh (200,000) enrolled. The school follows the same rules, courses, and exam system as other University of Delhi colleges, and students receive the same degrees. To help more students, new study centers are being opened in different parts of Delhi.
