Sourashtra College Admission: Sourashtra College in Madurai is a private school for boys and girls started in 1967 by kind-hearted members of the Sourashtra community to help poor and underprivileged students get a good education. It began with basic courses and later added college-level programs like B.A., B.Com., and B.B.A., growing over time to offer 20 undergraduate courses, 5 advanced courses (like M.Com),professional degrees (MBA, MCA),research programs, and 60 skill-building classes. Today, it has 115 teachers, 51 staff members, and over 1,800 students. The college uses flexible learning systems like CBCS (since 2008) and focuses on clear learning goals (OBE since 2021). Students can also play sports like cricket, basketball, and yoga at its fitness center, making it a place for both studies and active living.
