SBSCTM Lucknow Delhi Admission: The Shaheed Bhagat Singh Post-Graduate Institute of Management was started in 1983 to help grow professional education in India. It was created by the All India Shaheed Bhagat Singh Memorial Trust, registered under an old Indian law (Societies Registration Act, 1860),by S. Kulbir Singh, the younger brother of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. Kulbir, a brave freedom fighter and kind-hearted leader, wanted to train working professionals and young people in management. After his death in 1983, his son Babar Singh led the institute, making it even more successful. Former Indian President Giani Zail Singh honored the institute by becoming its Chief Patron. Later, Babar Singh Sandhu, Bhagat Singh’s nephew and a respected social worker, helped build the college at NIT-Faridabad, aiming to turn it into a top research center and train skilled professionals to support India’s fast-growing industries.
