Sanjay Gandhi Memorial College, Admission: Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital started operating in April 1986 as part of a government plan to improve healthcare for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. It was one of seven hospitals built with 100 beds each during the 6th Five-Year Plan. Later, in 2010, the hospital expanded to 300 beds, including 150 beds for maternity and child care. Today, it serves the health needs of about 35 to 40 lakh people from nearby areas like Mangol Puri, Punjabi Bagh, and Kirari, as well as patients from neighboring states such as Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
