RPSIT Patna Admission: The Patna Institute of Technology was started in 1980 by the late Professor R. P. Sharma, who was the founder of the Patna Educational Development Trust. He took great care and had a clear vision to make technical education available to everyone. With his strong leadership and forward-thinking ideas, the institute grew rapidly. It became a well-known Engineering Degree College. The college is approved by AICTE in New Delhi and is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University in Patna (starting from the 2018 session). It is also recognized by the Science & Technology Department of the Bihar government.
