Red Crescent College of Nursing, Calicut, Admission: Red Crescent College of Nursing was started in 2010 and offers a Basic B.Sc. Nursing program with good facilities like modern labs, a library with new books and journals, transport, and food services. Students get hands-on training in hospitals and are taught by experienced teachers. They do very well in exams held by the Kerala University of Health Sciences. The college is managed by Al-Irshad Charitable Society and is located near NH 17, in a quiet area just 12 kilometers from Calicut airport. It is close to a 250-bed multi-specialty hospital in Chungam, Feroke.
