RCHE, Guwahati, Admission: The Regional College was founded in 1986 under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860). After getting approval from the Manipur government in 1989, it officially became part of Manipur University in 1991–1992 and gained permanent affiliation in 1999. In 2000, the college was recognized by India’s University Grants Commission (UGC) under two special sections (2(f) and 12(b)),confirming its status as a reputable institution.
