RBVRR Women's College of Pharmacy, Admission: RBVRR College of Pharmacy began as RBVRR Women’s College and Hyderabad Mahila Vidya Sangam (HMVS). It is named after Raja Bahadur Venkatram Reddy, a former Police Commissioner of Hyderabad State under the Nizam, who strongly supported women’s education. Born on August 22, 1869, in a middle-class family in Rayanpet, Wanaparthy, he faced hardships early in life, losing his parents and being raised by his uncle, William Wahab. Despite his relatives’ disapproval, he pursued education passionately and worked hard to uplift women through learning. The college honors his dedication to education and his lasting impact on empowering women.
