Raja Balwant Singh College, Admission: Raja Balwant Singh College, once called Balwant Rajput College, is famous for its great growth and success. It started in 1885 as a small hostel for just 20 students in an old building called "The Kotla House" in Agra. The founder was Raja Balwant Singh of Awagarh. By 1899, the hostel became a recognized High School, and in 1901, its first group of students took the Matriculation exam from Allahabad University.
