RK Talreja College, Mumbai, Admission: Seth Parsram Parumal, known as Baba, was a kind and visionary leader who started the Seva Sadan Trust in 1950 to help Sindhi migrants get an education after the partition. He began with New Era School and built Ulhasnagar’s first cemented building in 1957. In 1961, he opened the first college in the Konkan region for girls, later renamed R.K.T College in honor of Ramchand Kimatram Talreja, who donated money to the college. In 1964, the trust also started a College of Education to train teachers, showing Baba’s lifelong commitment to helping others through education.
