PDSCN, Hyderabad, Admission: The Princess Durru Shehvar Children’s Medical Aid Society (PDSCMAS) was started on January 19, 1983, to help improve the health and education of people in the local community. It was part of the larger charitable trust of H.E.H. the Nizam. To provide better healthcare, the PDSCMAS set up the Princess Durru Shehvar Children's and General Hospital (PDSC&GH) on March 16, 1989. Since there was a shortage of trained medical staff at the time, PDSCMAS also began offering courses to train doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers.
