NMIMS Mumbai Admission: NMIMS started in 1981 with small beginnings but has now become a well-known university around the world. It was started by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) to meet the growing need for management education in India. The institute began with just 40 students, 4 teachers, and a small library of 3,162 books. Classes were held in a small space above Bhaidas Hall in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Over time, it has grown into a respected and successful institution.
