National Institute of Homeopathy Admission: The National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH) was started in 1975 in Kolkata as an independent institute under India’s Ministry of AYUSH. It teaches homoeopathic medicine, offering a 5.5-year Bachelor’s degree (BHMS) since 1987 and advanced Master’s degrees (MD) in six fields like medicine and child care since 1998. The institute has a big campus in Kolkata’s Salt Lake area with classrooms, labs, a hospital (100 beds),and a large event hall. Students can stay in hostels (250 boys, 70 girls),and staff have housing nearby. NIH trains healthcare professionals in traditional homoeopathic treatments.
