The Madras Sanskrit College Admission: The Madras Sanskrit College was founded in 1906 by Sri V. Krishnaswami Iyer to improve the declining standards of Sanskrit education. The college focused on teaching classical Sanskrit, traditional scriptures, and subjects like Vedanta, Vyakarana, and Jyotisha. It also introduced English and comparative studies, making it unique compared to other Sanskrit colleges in Mysore and Travancore. A trust was formed in 1907 to support its growth and promote research in Oriental knowledge.
