Maharashtra Mahavidyalaya Admission: Maharashtra Shikshan Samiti was started in 1968 to create national and social awareness among people. Dr. Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar, the founder Chairman, had a vision to promote education. He set up 16 schools in nearby rural areas, including primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools. He also established Maharashtra Mahavidyalaya, Maharashtra College of Pharmacy, and Maharashtra College of Engineering in Nilanga to provide technical education to students from rural areas.
