Mercy College of Nursing, Kottayam, Admission: The Sisters of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a religious group started in 1908 in Champakulam, Kerala, by Bishop Thomas Kurialassery and Mother Mary Chanthal. Their mission is to worship Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and serve people through education, healthcare, and social work. Mercy College of Nursing, part of Mercy Hospital in Pothy, Kottayam, was established in 1973 by the Sisters to provide healing and care. The nursing program began in 1996 and became a B.Sc. Nursing course in 2013. The college is well-equipped, approved by health councils, and offers a good learning environment for students.
