LDSC Mumbai Admission: The Kalyan Wholesale Merchants’ Association has played an important role in the social, cultural, and educational growth of Kalyan city by supporting welfare activities and donating to disaster relief funds. To address the lack of higher education opportunities, they started Laxman Devram Sonawane Degree College in 2002, offering Arts, Commerce, Science, and Management courses, including postgraduate programs. Over the years, the college expanded its courses, moved to a spacious new building with modern facilities like labs, a library, and an Audio-Visual Room, and provided access to e-books and journals. It earned ‘B’ Grade from NAAC in 2015, ISO certification in 2017, and became permanently affiliated with Mumbai University, continuing to provide quality education to students.
