L.D. College Of Engineering Admission: L. D. College of Engineering (LDCE),located in Ahmedabad, is one of the top government engineering institutes in Gujarat. The institute was founded in June 1948, thanks to a generous donation of Rs. 25 lakhs and 31.2 hectares of land from Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai, a well-known textile industrialist. In his honor, the college was named Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering (LDCE). The campus is situated near the Gujarat University campus and is surrounded by several prestigious national-level institutions like PRL, ATIRA, and IIM. The college campus has buildings for various departments, offices, hostels, and residences for the Principal, rector, and wardens.
