KLDAV PG College, Admission: Kanhaiyalal DAV Post Graduate College in Roorkee was started in 1960 by a kind and visionary person named Rai Saheb Kanhaiyalal ji. The first principal, Shri Ishwar Dayal ji, helped build a strong base for the college. Over the years, the college began offering many new courses like B.Ed. in 1964, B.Sc. in subjects like Biology, Math, and Chemistry in 1972, and M.Sc. courses in Zoology, Botany, and Physics between 2002 and 2006. In 2016, the college also started B.Sc. in Microbiology and Computer Science.
