Jitendra Chauhan College of Law Admission: The Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) is a non-profit organization established in 1934. It started by taking over a school called Rashtriya Shala, which was founded in 1921 during India’s freedom movement. Over time, SVKM grew into a large educational group, opening schools and colleges in many fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, and Business Studies. Today, it teaches over 35,000 students every year!
In 1977, SVKM opened a law college with help from a generous donation by Shri Narottam Chauhan. The college was named Jitendra Chauhan College of Law (JCCL) in memory of his son, who passed away. This college has been training law students ever since.
