JNCE, Chennai, Admission: Jayalakshmi Narayanaswamy College of Education in Chennai began in 2009 with just one room and has grown into a well-known institution supporting the education of many needy children. Founded by Mrs. Mary Clubwala Jhadav, it now has around 100 students and includes the Lady Nye M.R.T.1 Special Higher Secondary School, providing education up to 12th grade with a 95% pass rate each year. To help students find good jobs, the college partnered with Madras Round Table No.1 to start the Seva Samajam M.R.T.1 Teacher Training Institute, which began in 2009 and plans to expand soon with approval from NCTE Bangalore.
