Institute of Indian Culture Admission: The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) was set up in 1950 to strengthen India’s cultural ties with other countries, starting with Asia and later expanding worldwide. Its goals were to promote cultural understanding, exchange programs, and showcase India’s rich heritage. Initially managed by the Education Ministry, it came under the Ministry of External Affairs in 1970 to support India’s foreign policy. By 1978, ICCR also took over organizing cultural delegations and exchange programs, becoming a key player in connecting India with the world through culture.
